As I was packing today I realized that it would be so incredibly rude of me not to share some of these Hawaii finds I have accumulated over the past month or two. Yes, I start planning THAT early for big vacations. Without further ado, I chose a few items to take a sweet little flat lay picture of, but I am going to give you a few links of fun and cute items that you will be stoked to add to your wardrobe for spring and into summer. You're so welcome for these.
These shorts from Target are Universal Thread brand. I stinking love this line at Target. I hate that I love it so much because I want to snag the entire section. Their shorts fit me REALLY well and are the perfect length which is important for my "mommy long legs".
This bathing suit is, funny enough, a random amazon purchase. I figured I would give it a shot and it is actually SUPER CUTE. It's very "Hawaii" to me. It screams "yes I may have a wedgie but at least my boobs aren't completely falling out." It's all about balance. It's hard to find legitimate booty coverage these days, so I am embracing it. Hashtag YOLO.
This Dress is from Old Navy and I am OBSESSED. It's SO SOFT, light weight and crazy affordable. Y'all, Old Navy is killing the spring game right now. The sales are amazing and clothes are so adorable. Go get you some.
So, of course I use "going on vacation" as a suitable excuse to buy a new pair of sunnies (shocker). I can not get enough of this Quay Australia brand. They are great quality for such a reasonable price. Don't get me wrong, I am all about a $12 pair of sunnies from Target, but sometimes to get lasting quality you have to spend a tad bit more. They all typically run around $55-$65. I love the oversized/mirrored look and Quay (pronounced KEE, believe it or not), is totally where it's at for quality and price.
This straw hat is LITERALLY from the dollar section at Target. Is that a blogger no no? It was $3. I have zero shame and loads of pride because a straw hat is a straw hat, people. Don't underestimate what you can find in those little piles of crap when you walk into the Tarj-mahall. Just saying.
I feel like there needs to be a drum roll and proper introduction to these shoes. They are my FAVORITE purchase so far for spring/summer. I will wear these to their death. They are the most comfortable and the cutest/simplest shoe for EVERYTHING. Seriously, you can wear them with everything. The platform is super in right now, and I can totally get down with it. Also, rose gold metallic lover always and forever.
I am trying the new IT cosmetics BYE BYE foundation because I am a true believer in their CC cream, so why not. This is supposed to be a moisturizer and foundation in one with light to medium coverage and also SPF 50. I feel great about that. Review to come.
This lip gloss is my JAM right now. Models Own is a brand carried at Ulta. I bought it blindly because of packaging. Honest answer. I do have a few other Models Own items, I like their branding so I gave it a go. Anyone else into metallic lips? I know they can be intense, but this is a little shy of the intensity and a somewhat of a matte metallic. Is that possible you may ask? You must go try it for yourself. I have the shade Meringue.
Lastly, Kristin Ess hair products are great. I am trying out her version of a sea salt spray so I can attempt the wavy beach hair in Hawaii. We shall see. I LOVE LOVE LOVE her finishing texture spray for when I curl my hair so I am going to stay loyal and see if I can feel the same way about this one.
I have other things I bought that I love, but these were my favorite buys hands down. I still can't believe I get to go to Hawaii. This was a bucket list trip for me. Is that lame? Maybe I shoot low for your average bucket lists, either way it's happenin' people. Paradise awaits me on Tuesday! I will bring y'all along on some killer views and #bejealous situations. Be sure to tune into my Instastories in you want a glimpse! Love you all.
